The Seattle Sounders FC continue an abysmal start to the 2024 season, as any sort of momentum from their big victory against Montreal two weeks ago seems like a distant memory, with frustrations bubbling over in a home loss to the Vancouver Whitecaps FC.

In their sixth match of the season, the Seattle Sounders FC finally tallied their first victory of the year as they used a 5-0 smashing of CF Montreal to get those two points. A brace from forward Raul Ruidiaz and individual goals from Jordan Morris, Alex Roldan, and Dylan Teves pushed the club to a big lead and Stefan Frei was steady in goal to help Seattle secure the clean sheet.

The Seattle Sounders FC were looking to get their winning and Sunday scoring mojo moving early into this years MLS campaign, and it appeared that was going to take place with Raul Ruidiaz's 11th minute penalty. Despite that, the second half saw things take a turn for the worse and Seattle ended up splitting points again.

In an intense week four matchup, the Seattle Sounders hosted the reigning MLS Champion LAFC that ultimately ended in a goal-less draw. Seattle and their visitors traded near miss chances throughout the course of the 90 minutes and extra time, with the standings points being split at the end of the day.
