Deaunte Damper makes his 2024 return to the Black Media Matters Studios next week as he fills in for TraeAnna Holiday on her show The Day With Trae. Damper will be guest-hosting Monday, January 29 - Wednesday, January 31st with Trae Holiday returning on Thursday, February 1st.

The Black Media Matters Studio has been a very familiar destination for Damper over the years. Damper is the host of the Converge Media show We Live In Color (currently on hiatus), the first TV show in Seattle to focus on the unique challenges and opportunities that surround the Emerald City’s Black LGBTQ+ community. Damper has also been a favorite go-to guest host in the past, filling in for Holiday on several occasions in 2023. Damper is known across the community for his advocacy in areas of HIV Awareness and Prevention, Mental Health, Homelessness Solutions, and addressing Substance Abuse Disorder. Damper works with organizations such as The Therapy Fund Foundation, VOCAL-WA, and B.U.I.L.D. 206.
