#WeLiveInColor looks back at an inspirational and exciting year

Join the host of We Live In Color Deaunte Damper as he reflects on what was an inspiring and fulfilling year. The show saw a variety of guests, from State Legislators to Drag Stars to activists and more. This year also saw Deaunte host a special edition of his show live from the historic McCaw Hall in partnership with the Pacific Northwest Ballet on World AIDS Day.

“This year felt like a dream,” Damper said. “I’m so thankful for everyone who helped with the production and I’m so happy to be part of the Converge family,” Damper said.

The best of episode features Taking Black Pride, Rosette Royale, Brandon Sanchez, Takiyah ‘TDub’ Ward, Cherub Onyx and Sir Wonko, and Nikkita Oliver. Despite having such an incredible year, Damper knows 2023 can be even better.

“As amazing as this year was, I know next year will be even better,” Damper said. “You’re going to see more stories of lived experience and different ways that we can advocate for the whole diaspora of Black community members.”
