#TheDayWithTrae - Meet Washington State Senator Manka Dhingra, she is the Deputy Majority Leader of the Washington State Senate and Chair of the Senate Law & Justice Committee. With over two decades of experience as a King County Senior Deputy Prosecutor, Manka has dedicated her career to fighting for justice and advocating for behavioral health interventions.

As a Crisis Intervention Trainer, Manka has been at the forefront of pushing for change in police culture and helped create the 40-hour crisis intervention training for law enforcement. She has also played a key role in revamping our state's crisis response system through the implementation of the 988 crisis system, including the first-in-the-nation Native and Strong Lifeline which emphasizes culturally appropriate and traditional healing for Indigenous community members.

Manka stopped by The Day With Trae with TraeAnna Holiday to discuss her run as a candidate for Washington State Attorney General.
