Join the Black Heritage Society of Washington State for a vibrant celebration honoring the legacy of Ebony Fashion Fair visionary Eunice Walker Johnson and Seattle’s own Josephine Stokes—who turns 100 this year and will be in attendance!

This free, all-ages event at the historic Washington Hall Ballroom will feature:
🖤 Vintage Black social club fashion footage (1958–1962)
🖤 A nonstop projection of Al Smith Sr.’s photography
🖤 Giveaways, EBONY Magazine displays & a photo booth
🖤 Light refreshments by DayoSense
🖤 Curated music for Black Music Month 🎶

Presented in partnership with Getty, this event is part of a national celebration of the Johnson Publishing Company Archives, a vital collection documenting 20th-century Black life in America.
