Veteran journalist and genre-bending talent Angela Poe Russell is set to headline the SABJ Black Voices Matter Showcase, offering an exclusive preview of her original musical, “Aviatrix.” Russell has taken history and transformed it into a powerful narrative that unveils the hidden legacy of aviation pioneer Bessie Coleman, celebrating a Black and Native American trailblazer whose story demands to be told.
