A Decade of Culture: The 10th Annual Portland Hip-Hop Week!

Portland's vibrant hip-hop scene is gearing up for a major milestone: the 10th anniversary of Portland Hip-Hop Week. From August 20-26, 2025, the city will be buzzing with an extensive lineup of events celebrating the culture that has united communities and elevated local talent. This year promises to be the biggest and most comprehensive celebration yet.

The Origin Story: Unifying a City

What started in 2015 as a single-day event on the steps of Portland City Hall has evolved into a powerful week-long movement. The founders' initial goal was to bridge the gap between the city's hip-hop community and various agencies, fostering a platform for dialogue and understanding. The result was a resounding success, and Portland Hip-Hop Week has since become an annual beacon of unity, education, and celebration, carrying forward the message that love, respect, and community are the core of hip-hop.
