AURA OF MYSTERY - WEIRD AT NIGHT EPISODE 236
WEIRD at NIGHT is a weekly live stream featuring music, painting, poetry, dancing and surreal comedy. The show is hosted by Patrick Galactic, a musician and performer, who is joined by a large cast featuring some incredible artists who contribute to our ongoing storylines each week. For example; drag performer, and video artist Freddye Dôllma Starr plays the role of Doctor Vince Violin. Vince was literally born yesterday. Ever since The Goblin Bird, Mandy Ravage, made a deal with Dante, The Ruler of Hell and Beyond, to normalize the climate in the WAN-iverse, strange doppelgangers have been appearing. Doctor Vince Violin is one of these new appearances and he is making waves in the WAN-iveres by claiming that going barefoot all the time may not be good for your health. Why would such a medical statement create controversy? Well, you see there is this Barefoot Messiah, played by the host of ‘We Live in Color’ Deaunte Damper, converting characters to go barefoot all the time. It’s become a huge movement and one of WEIRD at NIGHT’s original characters, Shoe Detective Steve Germany, is not happy about it.
Still with me? A bit confused? Good! WEIRD at NIGHT is about embracing mystery. We are inspired by Dada and very serious about being very silly. In a world of heavy consequences and incredible pain; For one hour every Saturday Night, WEIRD at NIGHT provides a loving atmosphere to tap into your playful inner child. We want to bring out that kid who would stick out their tongue and blow raspberries to the wind, or paint a picture of a dinosaur that no one could understand was a prehistoric creature but themself. Creativity is encouraged and we end every episode with an automatic writing exercise that invites everyone watching to participate.
Our show is founded on four principles; Time over money, People over profits, Art is the antidote, and Attack with Love.
