Besa Gordon stopped by the Black Media Matters Studio to support Jazz From Seattle during the taping of the weeks episode of Back2Besa. Besa has taken leave from the show and Jazz is among several guest hosts who will be filling in during her absence.

This week on Back2Besa, guest host Jazz from Seattle fills in for Besa Gordon and delivers an action-packed episode highlighting the best of Seattle and beyond. Jazz kicks off the show by sharing a bit about herself and her deep roots in Seattle's Central District, setting the stage for a journey through local businesses, inspiring individuals, and cultural hotspots.

The episode dives into various segments, starting with a visit to Fresh Soul in Spokane, where founder Michael C. Brown runs a restaurant that doubles as a youth job training program, offering scholarships and community support. Back in Seattle, Jazz shines a spotlight on Trae Holiday and her Emmy-nominated show, "The Day With Trae," celebrating her achievements and community impact.

Viewers are then taken to Blend Coffee and Kicks on Queen Anne, a unique fusion of specialty coffee and sneaker culture, followed by a visit to MUVA in Columbia Tower, a space created by artist Janara Swanson to empower mothers in the arts. The episode continues with a stop at Rojo Juice in Pike Place Market, where owner Rhonda Faison shares her passion for juicing and her resilience journey.

The adventure extends to Tacoma for an Akeem Ali concert hosted by the Innovative Change Makers, showcasing their efforts in building community through music. Finally, Jazz returns to the studio to give Besa Gordon her flowers, expressing gratitude for the platform she has created and sharing an affirmation: "It's not on me, it's in me."
