Baseball Beyond Borders Brings Nike RBI West Regional Tournament Back to PNW!
Get ready, South King County! For the third consecutive year, Baseball Beyond Borders (BBB) is thrilled to host the Nike RBI West Regional Tournament, a Major League Baseball event that puts our community on the map. From July 25-27, over 300 talented student-athletes from across the West Coast will converge here, competing for a coveted spot in the Nike RBI World Series in Florida.
Presented by Gatorade and the Seattle Mariners, this year's tournament will feature teams from Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Oregon, and Washington. It's more than just a competition; it's three days dedicated to connection and community. While showcasing top baseball and softball talent, the event is deeply rooted in promoting equity, access, and opportunity for young athletes of color. It's about building a future where they have the leadership, support, and community needed to thrive on and off the field.
"This is more than just a tournament," says BBB Founder Bookie Gates. "You're watching future MLB and AUSL talent compete for a chance to represent the West at the Nike RBI World Series in Vero Beach, Florida, at the iconic Jackie Robinson Training Complex."
Games will be held at Auburn High School, Auburn Mountainview High School, Hogan Field at Russell Road Park, and Thomas Jefferson High School. You can find the full game schedules at https://baseballbeyond.org/regionals. Most games will also be livestreamed through the Gamechanger Tournament app.
Baseball Beyond Borders is dedicated to using sport as a platform for mentorship, identity, and generational impact, particularly for youth from historically excluded communities. They are committed to developing strong athletes and strong leaders who uplift their families and communities.
