The recent GSBA Impact Awards Ceremony was a night of celebration, community, and recognition for those actively working to uplift the LGBTQ+ community across Washington State. The event at Town Hall Seattle, which honors foundations, community organizations, and local businesses, was co-hosted for the second year in a row by a Converge Media dynamic duo, Besa Gordon and TraeAnna Holiday.

For Gordon, it marked her fourth year hosting the prestigious event. The night, full of "sparkles, sequins, laughs, bright smiles," successfully brought together a room of people dedicated to meaningful work, she said.

Converge Media has been a committed GSBA member for nearly six years, and the ongoing partnership continues to strengthen under the leadership of President and CEO Ilona Lohrey. The organization's pride in its team was evident, not only for the co-hosting excellence of Gordon and Holiday but also for the presence of colleagues Deaunte Damper and Alicia Crank.

The celebratory atmosphere highlighted the importance of the GSBA Impact Awards in recognizing those who continue to show up for and advocate for the LGBTQ+ community. Converge Media extends a heartfelt congratulations to all the winners, acknowledging the vital work being done across the region.

Converge Media has been a member of GSBA for nearly six years. Under the leadership of Lohrey, we celebrate GSBA’s role in representing a membership of small business, corporate, and nonprofit organizations committed to promoting equality and diversity in the workplace.

Moreover, GSBA serves as a crucial regional connector, advocating for civil rights and small business interests, promoting LGBTQ+ tourism, and securing the future by investing in the next generation of leaders through its Scholarship & Education Fund.
