Bridging Continents: Converge Media Welcomes European Delegation
Converge Media's Black Media Matters Studio recently served as an educational hub for a delegation of journalists and business professionals from the Balkans, as part of the Open World Balkans: Business Development program. This initiative, supported by the Congressional Office for International Leadership (COIL) and the World Affairs Council - Seattle, aimed to provide the European professionals with insights into Converge Media's operational strategies. The delegation's visit centered on understanding how Converge Media fosters community trust, their unique approach to storytelling, content distribution methods, the integration of AI in media operations, and the current media landscape in America.
The group represented a diverse range of professional backgrounds from Kosovo, North Macedonia, and Serbia. From Kosovo, Bardha Limani, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Andrra App, and Arianit Pajaziti, Chief Executive Officer of Appbites LLC, were present, offering a perspective on technology and business innovation. North Macedonia's representatives included Ruzhica Antikj, Company Manager of Antic Media DOOEL, who brought insights from the media industry, and Florent Izairi, Sales Assistant at Unifrigo, providing a business sales perspective. Facilitator Jehona Zhuta-Vrenezi, Digital Production Coordinator at the US Embassy in North Macedonia, also joined the delegation. Serbia was represented by Milica Calija, Chief Executive Officer and Owner of Andjeli Delicije, showcasing entrepreneurship in the food sector, and Aleksandra Petrovski, Founder and Manager of Foundation Two 37, contributing experience in foundation management.
This exchange reflects Converge Media's role as a platform for dialogue and learning, particularly concerning media practices and community engagement. It allows for the sharing of best practices and the fostering of international connections in the ever-evolving media industry.
