Empowering Community and Economic Mobility: Niecko Glover On The Upcoming Enterprise Nexus 2026
Seattle native, community leader, and Enterprise Nexus co-founder Niecko Glover is bringing professionals, entrepreneurs, and civic leaders together for the upcoming Enterprise Nexus 2026, hosted in partnership with the Seattle Public Library. Aimed at fostering economic mobility and supporting local small businesses, the series seeks to bridge the gap between community members and key regional resources.
The primary event is this Friday, October 2nd at the Seattle Central Library branch (4th floor) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., with lunch provided for attendees.
Expanding Scope: Integrating Civic Engagement
Building on previous iterations that centered around workforce and economic development, this year’s Enterprise Nexus introduces a dedicated civic engagement component to address pressing regional issues such as market shifts, housing costs, and local policy impacts.
“Last year we just had economic development and workforce development, but this year we're bringing in civic engagement,” Glover said. “Understanding how policies affect a small business... and understanding how civic impacts our region is super important.”
The program features specialized interactive workshops designed to equip job seekers, gig workers, and business owners with actionable skills, ranging from navigating AI in the workplace to turning side businesses into sustainable income streams.

A Roots-Driven Mission
For Glover, Enterprise Nexus is particularly impactful to his personal goals.
“For me, I feel like the mission and how this all comes about is just being able to give back to the community and each one teach one,” he said. “If we can learn together, we can grow together... I look at it as like plants—watering each other, and we'll be able to grow a stronger ecosystem.”
Direct Support for Entrepreneurs of Color
The event intentionally connects entrepreneurs and business owners of color with tailored funding opportunities, venture capital networks, and civic representatives.
“We have grants that are dedicated just for BIPOC businesses that we're going to be having and sharing,” Glover said. “Being able to bridge those gaps and bring those resources directly to them is a way I feel like we can support Black businesses and continue to build that Seattle Black Wall Street.”

October 28, 2026: Focus workshop at the Seattle Public Library Douglas Truth Branch.
October 30, 2026: Workforce development focus at the Seattle Public Library Lake City Branch.
December 2, 2026: Event session at the Seattle Public Library Beacon Hill Branch.
