Experience the Magic of the Holidays with Pacific Northwest Ballet’s The Nutcracker

The holiday season in Seattle wouldn't be complete without Pacific Northwest Ballet’s sparkling production of George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker. Running from November 27 through December 27, 2026, at Seattle Center’s Marion Oliver McCaw Hall, this beloved tradition promises to surprise and delight audiences of all ages across 35 live public performances.

From the moment you step into McCaw Hall’s resplendent lobby, the festive atmosphere takes hold. Over 30 high school and community choirs from across the Pacific Northwest will serenade arriving guests starting 30 minutes before showtime. Inside the theater, you will be swept away by scenic and costume designs by Ian Falconer, stunning sets including a 40-foot Christmas tree, and Dale Chihuly’s iconic Winter Star glowing in the Snow scene.

Watch polished performances by PNB’s professional company dancers alongside rising stars from the PNB School, all set to Tchaikovsky’s timeless score performed live by the world-famous 59-musician PNB Orchestra.
