Seattle's Central District is about to come alive with the sounds of jazz, blues, Latin, and soul! Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 6th, from 4:30 PM to 10:30 PM, as the 12th Annual Jackson St Jazz Walk kicks off its yearly celebration of the area's rich African American music legacy.
This incredible event will transform South Jackson Street, with 20 bands performing on nine community stages. From restaurants and businesses to panoramic apartment building rooftops, you'll find diverse and inclusive artists ranging from emerging talents to internationally recognized names.

This year, the Jackson St Jazz Walk coincides with the Annual Pratt Fine Arts Open House, offering even more entertainment, artistic, and educational options for the community. The Jackson St Jazz Walk, presented by Eugenie Jones' Music for a Cause nonprofit, is more than just a music festival; it's a celebration of "MUSIC. COMMUNITY. LEGACY." The event proudly honors the Central District's past, a historically vibrant African American community where legendary artists like Quincy Jones, Ray Charles, and Ernestine Anderson launched their careers.
