HeartBeat With Cindi Bright to Feature a Look at the Impacts of the Education System on Black and Brown Youth

What has been the impact that COVID has had on K-12 education for Brown and Black Children?  Has a migration begun for Black children to leave mainstream education and choose alternative methods to meet the educational needs that are not being met by the Seattle Public Schools?  Is there a teacher shortage for teachers or color or are educators making different choices for children?

HeartBeat focuses on this ecosystem of education that has severely impacted brown and black children.  Welcome Naomi Shelton, CEO at National Charter Collaborative and David Watson, Principal Rainier Valley Leadership Academy.  Along with co-host Stefani Coverson, CEO Jamii Pae Consulting and former Seattle Public Schools Labor Relations Manager.

Tune in at 5:30 pm at the link above on Wednesday to hear from Shelton and Watson as well as Bright and her co-hosts
