Heru TchaasAmen Brings Ancient Wisdom and Digital Tools to The Day With Trae

In a world increasingly driven by hyper-targeted advertisements, digital isolation, and the crushing weight of modern stress, a counter-movement centered on communal wellness is quietly taking root. Holistic health practitioner and IT expert Heru TchaasAmen recently returned to The Day With Trae to share his evolving practice and underscore a timeless truth: true healing cannot happen in isolation.

Speaking with host Trae Holiday, TchaasAmen delivered an impassioned critique of how society currently handles trauma and anxiety, while offering concrete, accessible tools to help individuals and businesses reclaim their peace.

The Hidden Epidemic of Stress

TchaasAmen addressed a sobering reality within the local community: a rising tide of loss directly tied to internal pressure.

"Lately, we've been losing a lot of people in community and the people that we've been losing, we've lost them to stress," TchaasAmen said. "It doesn't always look like stress, but it's stress. Sometimes it looks like moving too fast. Sometimes it looks like reaching for a bottle... trying to relieve a pressure that never really lets up, that continues to crush us."

According to TchaasAmen, the coping mechanisms many turn to only compound the collective trauma, creating a ripple effect that damages entire families. To counteract this, he advocates for an immediate return to the absolute fundamental element of life: the breath.

"We might not have the insurance or whatever, but we can do one thing," TchaasAmen said, pointing to the financial barriers of modern healthcare. "We can learn how to breathe again... Breathing is the easiest. It's free and it doesn't have any side effects."

Deconstructing Generational Patterns

A central theme of TchaasAmen’s current teachings is "pattern breaking,” the conscious effort to identify and rewrite behaviors passed down through generations. He explained that human consciousness operates on foundational survival patterns developed over millions of years of evolution. While these patterns originally kept humans safe from danger, the modern tragedy is that people continuously deploy them in situations where their lives are not threatened.

This historical weight is particularly evident when examining institutional trauma.

"How do we repair the damage that has been done to our…psyche over these hundreds of years of institutionalized racism and suppression and oppression,” he said. “We have behaviors that are directly related to those events, that have been passed down from our grandparents, our great-grandparents, and we think that they're normal."

Through his structured offerings, he provides scientifically and historically proven techniques, utilizing qigong, visualization, and breathwork, to help individuals alter their immediate neurological responses to lifelong triggers.

Where Ancient Practice Meets Ethical Tech

What sets TchaasAmen apart from conventional wellness coaches is his background in information technology, a skill set he uses to holistically structure and automate local businesses. Guided by the 11 Laws of Maat, he works with entrepreneurs to align their operational models with ethical and spiritual precepts.

This intersection of tech and ethics has led him to advocate for localized, "self-contained" artificial intelligence models rather than expansive, mainstream AI networks that place heavy demands on natural resources and inherit systemic biases.

"Who created these AI models? Did they look like you? Are you trusting them to then give you information that's applicable to your specific situation? It's not going to tell you the truth. So, we might as well build an AI model that's made for us by us,” he said.

Healing Outside the Bubble

All of TchaasAmen's digital automation efforts serve a singular, practical purpose: freeing up human time so that people can actually step away from screens and commit to their personal well-being. To streamline this journey, he has consolidated his global resources, including his free Saturday Calm Cultivation sessions, individual six-week courses, and corporate stress reduction modules, into a centralized platform at heruheals.com

Reflecting on his growth as a practitioner and his long-standing relationship with Converge Media, TchaasAmen admitted that his initial instinct years ago was to step away from the public eye.

"I realized now that you cannot heal in a bubble. We get to heal in community. And this platform has given me space to do that. This work that I do is about healing myself so I can uplift the community,” he said.

TchaasAmen is partnering with the WOW Gallery to host a curated outdoor group chi healing experience at Seward Park on the early evening of August 6th. The event is open to the public with no barriers to entry, requiring only a collective willingness to sit in space, breathe, and choose self-love.

Catch “The Day With Trae” Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 11 a.m. on all Converge streaming platforms.
