Holidays at the Center To Feature Winterfest, Christmas Market, Movie Nights, and More
Looking for free and affordable things to do this holiday season? Seattle Center has got you covered, with a fun and family-friendly holiday calendar packed with events, activities, and attractions through the rest of the year. From Seattle Center’s annual Winterfest series, presented by Symetra, to the Seattle Christmas Market, PNB's Nutcracker, and more, there is something for everyone to experience this November and December.
Winterfest, Presented By Symetra
The Seattle Center Winterfest is about connecting the community to a world of sparkling lights, amusements and spirited entertainment, presented by Symetra, from Nov. 28 to Dec. 31, 2025. Throughout the five weeks of Winterfest, those in search of uplifting seasonal spirit or delightful diversion will find seasonal decor, ice sculpting, our Winter Train & Village, weekend entertainment on the Armory Stage, and a New Year's Eve Celebration.
Seattle Christmas Market
With European and local vendors, holiday karaoke, Santa meetings, festive drinks and more, there’s a little something for everyone at the Seattle Christmas Market from Nov. 20 to Dec. 24. Get your tickets here.
Winter Train and Village
Visit a late 19th-century model train and village display, installed inside the Armory Food & Event Hall starting November 28. This annual tradition has been on display for nearly 50 years! The public is invited to take a turn operating the train, or interact by participating in our Scavenger Hunt. Pick up your entry sheet at the Train Station, and see how many clues you can spot. The train operates 10am to 6pm daily from Nov. 28 through December 31. Visitors are invited to operate the train between 10:30am and 5:30pm. Donations accepted to keep the train operating. Winterfest World Bazaar presented by Festál
Shop for your holiday gifts at this special World Bazaar, offering goods created by local BIPOC artists, and curated by community partners. Browse a rotating roster of vendors on weekends, noon to 6pm between November 28th and December 21st. Check out the Seattle Center event calendar for a list of vendors on each day.
Ice Sculpting Series
Our weekly Ice Sculpting series is back! Watch as acclaimed carvers create original sculptures made of ice each Saturday during Winterfest starting at 12 p.m. at Mural Amphitheatre. Artists include Chan Kitburi, Janson Iwakami and James Royal.
Symetra Movie Nights at Winterfest
Stop by the Seattle Center at 6:30 p.m. on select Friday nights during Winterfest for free holiday film screenings in the Armory. Bring the whole family down to watch these classic movies. Symetra is partnering with Ceres and Seattle Fudge to provide hosted hot beverages and snacks for movie attendees. The movie night lineup is as follows:
Friday, November 28 at 6:30 p.m.: “The Polar Express”
Friday, December 5at 6:30 p.m. : “The Muppet’s Christmas Carol”
Friday, December 12 at 6:30 p.m.: “A Christmas Story”
Friday, December 26 at 6:30 p.m.: Disney’s “Frozen”
