In May, Friends, family, and allies gathered in Pioneer Square to celebrate Deaunte and honor his historic appointment as 2026 Seattle Pride Grand Marshal, capturing moments of genuine connection that reflect the incredible warmth he brings wherever he goes.
That momentum carried forward into last week's historic 100th Episode Live Show for We Live In Color at the Langston Hughes Performing Arts Institute. Marking four seasons and 100 episodes of Black queer storytelling, culture, and community impact, Deaunte’s monumental milestone celebrates not just a show, but a movement powered by love, dedication, and togetherness.
Through Deaunte’s tireless advocacy, leadership, and heart, he consistently creates safe, empowering, and uplifting spaces for Black queer voices and local leaders across Seattle and beyond, reminding us all of the impact of community and mutual support.
