PHOTOS: The 12th Annual Reign of Style Hair Show & Competition Electrifies Seattle Center
The 12th annual Reign of Style Hair Show & Competition recently electrified Seattle Center, reaffirming its status as the Northwest’s premier event for the beauty industry. With Back2Besa host Besa Gordon in attendance, this spectacular day brought together a galaxy of talent—makeup artists, beauticians, models, hair stylists, and more—for a celebration of artistry, community, and friendly competition.
The event was hosted by Converge Media's own Trae Holiday, whose signature style helped illuminate the incredible talent on display. Organized by Life’s Salon owner and founder Aisha Ellis Asim, the itinerary was extensive, featuring "Watch Me Work" competitions in categories like extravagant makeup, locs, fades, and barber design, as well as the magnificent MANE Stage Presentation.
The spirit of community and entrepreneurship was further elevated by a dynamic roster of vendors, including Zara Jo Beauty Supply, Platinum Plush Fashions, and Hood Healer, among many more.
