Yesterday, Trap Kitchen PDX hosted their annual “Feed Our Community” holiday event. Hosted by Trap Kitchen along with local artist and radio host Cool Nutz, the event provided meals for 150+ people, as well as turkeys and holiday essentials for 50+ families in need of supplies and holiday comfort.

“In partnerships with CJ McCollum, Amine, Ron & Shantel Sloy, JAMN 107.5, Roseland PDX, B&R Tree Farms, Soccer Ballin Clothing, Converge Media, and more, we've been able to have an impact on the needs of those from our community,” Cool Nutz said. “Over the last few years, we've been able to have a positive impact on the holiday experience of a couple thousand individuals and families.”

The yearly Trap Kitchen "Feed Our Community" Holiday events began during the pandemic in an effort to help members of the community that were in need of support - whether it be food, holiday essentials, Christmas Trees, or gift cards.

At a community level, support also came from Mikey Vegaz, Cool Nutz, Christopher Lambert, S.Loyal, Cream & Co., Da Cup, Kevin Moffet, Carla Badon, Chef Spank, Chef News, Chef Shawn, Chef Ders, and more.
