I was a little nervous about my first time shooting at T-mobile Park. It’s been a dream of mine to shoot an MLB game and as soon as I got into the gates the atmosphere was amazing. The people working there were helpful in getting me to the press box to meet up with Ike Everard. Liv Lyons helped me with guidelines which helped a lot. The main thing Liv did to help me to enjoy the moment was her telling “don’t try and boil the ocean”.

Ike gave me the players that he needed photos of. Walking to the on-field media dugout was incredible. It was like I was truly a part of the game. The other photographers were so cool and were ok with me learning from them which was great. I truly hope to have more opportunities.

I don’t like fishing, but this is my form of fishing. I love throwing my pole (camera) out there and try to get a good shot.
