Reflecting on Radical Joy: Deaunte Damper’s Milestone Moments from his Colman Commons Birthday Celebration
We’re still riding the wave of radical joy from May when friends, family, and allies gathered to celebrate We Live In Color host Deaunte Damper’s birthday and his appointment as 2026 Seattle Pride Grand Marshal. The festivity was the first ever event hosted at Colman Commons, Seattle’s premier art gallery and event space in Pioneer Square.
This Thursday, September 10th, the momentum builds once again as Deaunte hosts the We Live In Color 100th Episode Live Show at the Langston Hughes Performing Arts Institute. The live show is FREE for the community to pull up, show love, and celebrate Deaunte’s incredible milestone as he rounds out Season 4 of We Live In Color.
