The Seattle Sports Star of the Year Awards took place last night at the Westin Hotel, and Converge Media was on the red carpet. Our Besa Gordon was there to take in the sights and sounds as icons like Ken Griffey Jr., Doug Baldwin and Jen Mueller, as well as legends in the making like Julio Rodriguez and Jewel Lloyd, were honored by the Seattle Sports Commission.

The star-studded event also featured the mascots of Seattle’s sports teams as well as a full slate of media, coaches and dignitaries.
