Celebrated Seattle artist Soula Ayers stopped by the #MorningUpdateShow to talk about Beloved King County (hyperlink) call for art as part of their campaign to uplift art, history, and culture in efforts to combat gun violence in our community.

Soulma said that Beloved is looking for artists who have felt the impacts of gun violence in our community and are able to translate that "negative from their heart into beauty on a page". Soulma said that art submissions of all types are being accepted from visual arts to photo, video, sculpture, you name it.
