There will be sunshine after the rain: Sounders tally first victory of 2024 with 5-0 result over CF Montreal 

In their sixth match of the season, the Seattle Sounders FC finally tallied their first victory of the year as they used a 5-0 smashing of CF Montreal to get those two points. A brace from forward Raul Ruidiaz and individual goals from Jordan Morris, Alex Roldan, and Dylan Teves pushed the club to a big lead and Stefan Frei was steady in goal to help Seattle secure the clean sheet.

Sounders strike first, taking leg one of MLS Cup Playoffs round one matchup against FC Dallas 

To kickoff their 2023 MLS Cup Playoffs campaign, the Seattle Sounders defeated FC Dallas in leg one of their round one matchup in strong fashion. Offensively frustrated Sounders continue to scuttle along in draw to Orlando City 

The Seattle Sounders continue to struggle offensively at a frustrating pace, as they split points with Orlando City SC in a scoreless draw at Lumen Field. Seattle hosted Pride Night, but the Sounders aren't surely proud with their performances as of late considering the struggles on the attack. While differing factors took out several key players, Seattle still had numerous opportunities to find the back of the net and could not.

The Seattle Sounders FC locked up three key key players to long term extensions, all three of them locally grown either in the state of Washington or through the clubs academy. Cristian Roldan, Danny Leyva, and Jordan Morris all received extensions from Seattle under general manager Craig Waibel.
