After the dust had settled from the trade that sent closer Paul Sewald to the Arizona Diamondbacks, the Seattle Mariners have three young and athletic bats that should be able to help the organization in the now and for years to come. We take a look at those three names in this piece.

Seattle looked like the winning version of themselves, something that we hadn’t seen in the past two games.

To open their four game series against the Minnesota Twins, the Seattle Mariners survived a ninth inning scare with a 7-6 victory. Seattle’s 7 runs over three innings seemed like more than enough, but a three-run homer made things a bit tense with two outs in the top of the ninth.

For the first time in their City Connect jerseys, the Seattle Mariners were victorious as the team took the first game of the series against the Chicago White Sox with a strong outing from Bryan Woo and some late offense down the final few innings of the game.

The Seattle Mariners walked off the New York Yankees to avoid being swept and giving Seattle a 7-3 record over the course on the ten game homestand! Cal Raleigh's base hit into right field scored ghost-runner Jose Caballero in the bottom of the tenth, as George Kirby's incredible eight-inning shutout performance was the story.

For a second straight night, the Seattle Mariners secured a victory over the Oakland Athletics, but tonight’s win was far different than yesterday’s. The Mariners bats were a lot quieter than yesterday, as JP Crawford and Ty France’s back-to-back homers powered the team to victory behind a strong performance from Seattle’s pitching staff.

In a thrilling Saturday night showdown, the Seattle Mariners defeated the Houston Astros with a seven-run rally in the eighth-inning. Going down early as the Astros were able to push three runs across, the Mariners needed a big comeback and they were able to get that in a big, big way.

Again, the Seattle Mariners scored five runs against the St. Louis Cardinals, and once again it was enough to secure victory against their interleague opponent. While Mariners ace Luis Castillo may have had an “off-day,” the Seattle offense was able to pick up some of the slack as Jarred Kelenic and Teoscar Hernandez homered before an Eugenio Suarez 2-RBI single gave Seattle a lead.

The Seattle Mariners took the victory on Sunday and a sweep of the Colorado Rockies, as starting pitcher Luis Castillo dominated and nearly had a perfect game. Jarred Kelenic ended up coming big twice for the Mariners, continuing to display the potential we’ve all long awaited to see play out.

The Seattle Mariners 2022 season came to an end with their 1-0, 18-inning loss in game three of the ALDS against the Houston Astros. The Mariners failed to get the hits they needed in order to force a game four, and their magical run comes to an end.

While our Mariners were on the road in the AL Wild Card series against the Toronto Blue Jays, photographer Liv Lyons and writer Charles Hamaker were on site at the watch parties for the games at T-Mobile Park to document the emotion of Mariners fans as their team won it’s first playoff series in 21-years.

The Seattle Mariners rallied to defeat the Texas Rangers and take the series. With the win, the Mariners magic number dropped down to one.

To begin their six game homestand, the Seattle Mariners defeated the Washington Nationals 4-2 on August 23rd, 2022. The Mariners used some long balls from Mitch Haniger and Eugenio Suarez, as well as quality pitching from Robbie Ray and the bullpen which has recently been nicknamed “Los Bomberos”

The Seattle Mariners, with a 4-3 win over the New York Yankees on August 10th, would win their first season series against the Bronx Bombers since 2002. The big win was highlighted by a solid outing pitching wise by Robbie Ray, a Sam Haggerty solo homer to break up a no hitter, and a go ahead homer by Carlos Santana to give the Mariners a lead they would never look back from.

In a game of the year candidate, the Seattle Mariners toppled the New York Yankees by the score of 1-0 in 13 long innings. Luis Castillo made his T-Mobile Park debut and dazzled fans with an 8 innings shutout masterclass.

The Seattle Mariners completed a four game sweep of the Toronto Blue Jays thanks to an incredible comeback. First baseman Carlos Santana had another two-run go ahead homer to give Seattle the win.
