It's time to show some love to the small businesses and team members who make our communities better!
The Intentionalist Awards are back, and nominations are open until Friday, August 29, 2025. This is your chance to shine a spotlight on the businesses and people who go above and beyond.
Nominating a business is easy—simply fill out the form on the Intentionalist website. You can nominate as many businesses as you like, including self-nominations. To be eligible, a business must be a consumer-facing, brick-and-mortar small business. Please note that previous winners are not eligible to win in the same category again.
There are six award categories to choose from:
Community Over Competition: For a business owner who supports and collaborates with other small businesses.
Heart of the Community: For a business that gives back to and supports the community.
Rookie of the Year: For a business that has been open for less than a year and has made a significant community impact.
Cross-Cultural Champion: For a business that helps people authentically experience other cultures.
Legacy Award: For a long-standing business (over 10 years) that has been a positive presence in the community.
Team Member of the Year: For a non-business owner whose contributions are vital to the success of the business.
