The Reign Is Back! Get Ready for the 12th Annual Reign of Style Hair Show & Competition
Get ready, Pacific Northwest! The 12th Annual Reign of Style Hair Show & Competition (ROS) is back, and it's bringing a full day of creativity, style, and high-octane energy to the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall on Sunday, March 1st, 2026.
With Converge Media’s own TraeAnna Holiday hosting this year’s event, the energy will be unmatched. As a media personality, community leader, and advocate, Holiday will bring her signature excitement and iconic fashion to the ROS stage.
From 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., Reign of Style is taking hair shows to the next level yet again. It’s a high-energy, family-friendly celebration of art, beauty, and culture, featuring a powerhouse lineup of hairstylists, barbers, makeup artists, models, and performers from Seattle, Tacoma, and beyond. This is the platform where seasoned pros and rising stars in the beauty industry come to shine!
This year is all about community and prime artistry. Attendees can look forward to a day packed with action:
“Watch Me Work” Competitions (12 PM): Live on-stage challenges in:
Make Me Up (for makeup artists)
Braids and Locs (for students and stylists)
Barber Battles (for student and licensed barbers)
Main Show Competition (4 p.m.): Stylists battle it out, highlighting their artistry for a chance at a $1,000 grand prize and the title of "Reigning Stylist."
Upliftment & Education: Get your knowledge up with educational sessions from The Washington Department of Ecology and an industry-focused class from loctician Millie Thompson.
Vibes: Catch a special dance performance by Northwest Tap Connection, plus vendors, networking, and the latest beauty trends.
This monumental celebration is made possible by our amazing partners, including Converge Media, Queen Care Products, Verity Credit Union, Pulse By Life Salon, and Bloodworks Northwest. The event will also offer an offsite blood drive with Bloodworks Northwest and a hair product drive for Dignity for Divas.
