Washington Bus’s Candidate Survivor Seattle To Take Over Neumos on July 16

Seattle, get ready to huddle up, because local politics is about to get a major upgrade.

The Washington Bus Education Fund, in partnership with CHUM News and Converge Media, is bringing Candidate Survivor Seattle to Neumos on July 16, 2026. This isn't your typical candidate forum; this is a heated, high-energy event, and you won’t want to miss it.

From 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m., prepare to see your candidates drop the rehearsed talking points and step into the arena. Hosted by the drag queen icon Harper Bizarre, this 18+ event turns the typical election debate into a dynamic, reality-TV-style competition. Whether they are tackling tough policy questions or participating in talent shows, you’ll get to see which candidates truly have what it takes to score big, and who strikes out.

With city, county, and state elections all on the horizon, this is your chance to connect with candidates in a format that prioritizes authenticity, interaction, and, most importantly, fun. Since 2009, Candidate Survivor has been the premier way for young voters to engage with the political process, helping to make local elections more accessible and engaging for everyone.
