Weird At Night: Saturday at 10 PM

WEIRD at NIGHT is a live stream for the late night disenfranchised.  We have featured hundreds of Northwest artists of all kinds. Musicians, painters, filmmakers, comics, as well as surreal comedy sketches with a continuing story that advances every week.  The artists featured on WEIRD at NIGHT are authentic.  They are people with a genuine voice, and an open heart. And the WANiverse? Let’s talk about that!

Over the course of 225+ episodes, WEIRD at NIGHT has introduced a wide and strange variety of characters. Steve Germany, our resident shoe detective and now head of NOIRRLAND PD. Mandolin Ravagé, a climate scientist whose research backfired, transforming them into the Goblin Bird, Mandy Ravage. The Spectacle Bear, Convege Media’s own Trae Holiday, Bang Bang Butterfly, The Pink Cloud and many more have all been birthed into the WANiverse right before our eyes.

But now, after a sensationalistic trial of the soul, an earthquake, and The Goblin Bird’s ill-considered and hasty deal with Dante, the Ruler of Hell (don’t ask), the WANiverse has been overrun with doppelgangers, bizarro clones of our beloved characters. Steve Germany’s doppelganger is Tony Japan, a better-looking and, so far, smarter version of the shoe snoop. Mandy Ravage is now confronted by Dr. Vincent Violin, The Spectacle Bear has the Monocle Bear, and even Trae Holiday has generated a second, Trae Halloween, gossip queen.

And, as the show has been overtaken with a huge assortment of new characters, one remains unseen and unheard…until now. The Barefoot Messiah, a mysterious character advocating the removal of all shoes from the feet of NOIRRLAND residents. As a shoe detective, Steve Germany is not comfortable with these efforts and has made slow (and ridiculously obtuse) progress in tracking down the Barefoot Messiah. But this Saturday, we are told the Barefoot Messiah will deliver their first message to the WANiverse!

Come share your authentic voice and celebrate the art all around us.  Join the WAN-iverse on Saturday night at 10PM, Live on Converge Media!
