YBG Healthcare seeks to launch first Black hospice in Washington State, pending DOH approval

Culturally sensitive and relevant end-of-life care is what Nathan Yemane MSW, LICSW who is the Founder and Managing Director of YBG Healthcare seeks to provide for those in our community across King County who are seeking hospice care. YBG Healthcare is one of four applicants that have applied to the Washington State Department of Health for the two licenses that DOH has made available for hospices in our region. YBG Healthcare is the only Black group applying and if approved would be the first Black-owned and operated hospice in the entire State of Washington. Nathan visited the #MorningUpdateShow recently and discussed YBG’s vision and the overall goal of Black ownership in healthcare across the State of Washington. #BlackMediaMatters #BlackHealthcare #BlackHospice
