Signing Off: The Morning Update Show coming to an end this week, Next up The Day With Trae
All good things must come to an end. A show that we intended to last a few months to give our community curated information about COVID turned into over two years of covering some of the most important stories and issues in the Seattle area. Now 26 months later since our first Morning Update Show on March 19, 2020, our final episode will occur this week.

In collaboration with the YMCA of Greater Seattle, Gabrielle’s Wings is committed to helping BIPOC children and their families learn to swim and providing marginalized communities access to aquatic safety programs. The Y and Gabrielle’s Wings are motivated by the importance and value of access to aquatic safety programs like the Y’s swimming lessons.

Through it all Mathis has made sure that Platinum Plush Fashions has continued to provide unique and trendy apparel for our community and beyond.

Rainier Avenue Radio Purchases The Historic Columbia City Theater
Following a year of negotiation and fundraising, the Cultural Space Agency and Rainier Avenue Radio are proud to announce their partnership, and their purchase of the historic Columbia City Theater. With support from the Strategic Investment Fund, as well as direct philanthropy from local supporters, the two organizations have acquired the Theater for $3.2 million and plan to reopen a fully renovated facility in 2023. Through the creation of the New Columbia City Theater Trust, cultural community members and neighbors will have the opportunity to be direct owners of, and investors in, the property.
