We stopped at Mizzter Chuck's auto detail to hear from owner Marcus Windom. Windom said the name of the company came from his nickname ‘Mizzy’ as well as his legal first name of Charles. He’s been detailing cars for over two decades, and launched the mobile side of his service three years ago.

Seattle JazzED Gala brings Community out to Support Music Education
Last Thursday, March 9th, 2022, Seattle JazzEd hosted their Soundtrack for the Future Gala at the Amazon Meeting Center.

We stopped at The Black Mannequin to visit CEO Bryan Walden, who started the company in 2017 as he pursued his passion for fashion and clothing sales. Always an entrepreneur, Walden was looking for ways to expand his business horizons and did so when he opened the brick-and-mortar store in 2019.
Stars shine too bright for Kraken, Seattle drops third straight game
In the second game in three days against the Dallas Stars, the Seattle Kraken fell once again, this time by a three goal differential. The Kraken penalty kill, which had been good for 30 of the last power plays they had faced, allowed three goals to the Stars man advantage.

Kraken fall in another tight battle, as Stars shine through in overtime
In another tight, heartbreaking loss, the Seattle Kraken fell to the Dallas Stars in overtime. The first of two games the teams will play in three days and of three games this month, Seattle hung with Dallas all night long and even took a lead with less than four minutes left in the game, but failed to slam the door shut.

Kraken nearly mount fierce comeback, cannot overcome self-inflicted mistakes in 5-4 loss to Senators
The Seattle Kraken saw their five game winning streak end Thursday, as the visiting Ottawa Senators were able to take advantage of Seattle’s suspect defense within the first ten minutes. The Kraken were able to battle back, but not finish as Ottawa scored the go-ahead goal in the final minutes.
Creative Justice Hosts Black Health & Wellness Day
Creative Justice hosted their Black Health and Wellness Day at Washington Hall last weekend, featuring numerous organizations, guests and resources focused on community well-being. Organizer and Musician Rell Be Free said the goal of the event was to fulfill community needs and provide opportunities for healing.

Kraken handle business against Ducks, but not before tempers flare
The Seattle Kraken returned home to Climate Pledge Arena, hosting their divisional rivals the Anaheim Ducks. Seattle was able to handle the result relatively calmly, but tempers between the Pacific Division rivals flared in the third period and ultimately resulted in Vince Dunn leaving the game due to concussion protocol.
