The Seattle Mariners, a day before the MLB Trade Deadline, took their series opener over the Boston Red Sox. Boston’s a team ahead of Seattle in the current Wild Card race, and the Mariners have a huge chance to make up ground during this series, as well as with the trade deadline taking place tomorrow.

The Bite Of Seattle returned this year following a hiatus to the pandemic. Widely regarded as one of the top food festivals in the United States, the Bite featured over 100 vendors and 50 musical artists. In their series and homestand finale, the Seattle Mariners couldn't pull another magical ending out from under the Toronto Blue Jays. In another back and forth affair, it was Toronto who got the last laugh, although Seattle had already won the series.

The Seattle Storm dropped their ninth-straight game, and their second since the second half of the season began, as they never were able to get a lead against the Chicago Sky. The visiting Chicago dominated the boards, ensuring their lead over a Seattle team that cannot seem to put an all-around effort together.
