Wacky late innings snap Mariners win streak at eight as Seattle finishes road trip with 8-2 record 

The Seattle Mariners closed out a ten-game road trip with an 8-2 record, seeing their eight-game winning streak stop there, as a wacky, frustrating, and somewhat bizarre game resulted in a loss to the Chicago White Sox. Seattle couldn’t complete a sweep of Chicago, despite George Kirby’s solid outing, as the Mariners batters couldn’t get things going until too late.

Rise Above Hosts SportsFest Uplifting Native Youth

Last weekend, Rise Above hosted their annual Sportsfest at the Redhawk Center on the Seattle U campus, which aims to uplift and celebrate native youth in sports. Mariners win streak hits 8 games for the second time this month as Seattle earns series win over White Sox 

With a 6-3 victory over the Chicago White Sox at the tail end of their ten-game road trip, the Seattle Mariners took another series win and their 8th consecutive victory. Although it was a shortened outing, starting pitcher Bryan Woo got the job done and second baseman Josh Rojas continues to settle in nicely.
