What defines the sound of Seattle? Artist and rapper Jwavy recently joined The Pop-Up! with host The Big O where she explained her sound she called the "Northern Flow," rooted in her Seattle upbringing and real-life experiences rather than replicating the style of California or the Bay Area. 

Drawing inspiration from diverse influences like Missy Elliott, Michael Jackson, and gospel music, she uses her music to focus on themes of self-confidence, self-worth, and personal morals.
