On a recent episode of “The Big O Show,” Mayor Bruce Harrell defined accountability in relation to his term and the incoming Wilson administration. Harrell said that the new administration will also be held accountable and must be held accountable just as he was and the administration before him. 

"When you hold someone accountable, it doesn't mean that you're sitting back just judging. Means that you're helping,” he said, reiterating that he will hold the Wilson administration accountable. “They should be held accountable as I was held accountable," he said. 

Harrell advised that when people are critical, they should be prepared to volunteer for something. Despite leaving the Mayor’s office, he said that he is “not going anywhere” and that he will continue to stay involved in helping communities find their voice and helping businesses succeed.
