With a remarkable career spanning over two decades, Shakasis has dedicated herself to nurturing young artistic minds. An accomplished Author of "Kamit: The Story of Ausar and Auset," Shakasis is also celebrated as a poet, playwright, and Hip Hop artist. Her creative genius extends to being the driving force behind Little Kamit Books, Shakafly Brooklyn, AfroVegan NYC, and Co-Writer and Director of the impactful play "Mango."
