Free from Circle of Fire gives a Red Bull Lords Of The Floor Preview

Did you know that one of the biggest legendary dance battles in the world is coming back to Seattle on April 6th? I am talking about The Red Bull Lords of the Floor, returning to the Emerald City after over 20 years. It’ll bring the world's best break dancers to compete head-to-head before many of them fly off to Paris to compete in the 2024 Summer Olympic Games.

Lords of the Floor will be hosted by Tacoma’s own Joe Koy, and will feature a performance from Common. Clearly, there’s a lot going on, so I caught up with Free, from Circle of Fire and Soul Shifters to get the scoop on the show and also what else Red Bull has been doing in the community leading up to the event.

Really quick about Free: He is one of the founding members of Circle of Fire, which was considered one of the most innovative break dance crews in the 90s, and was started right here in Seattle almost 30 years ago, and to this day, you can find them catching a vibe at different local clubs and taking over the dance floor with their electric moves.

Plus, he also founded Soul Shifters, a collective of video, graffiti artists, musicians, photographers, and more. Let’s tap in with Free to learn more about Red Bull, Lords of the Floor.
