MR. TOMONOSHi! Slices of Black American Life

“MR. TOMONOSHi! Slices of Black American Life” is a live performance of Blaxploitation poems and short stories—a raw, electrifying, and wondrously whimsical articulation of the fantastical lives of Black Americans. Written and performed by Martellus Bennett, also known as MR. TOMONOSHi, each piece colors outside the lines, transforming the stage into a sacred space where Black imagination and the Black American experience collide. One night. One stage. Unlimited Black imagination.

Ages 14 or older. Free for ages 14 to 18.

Doors at 3 PM, with a book signing and reception following the show.
