Alicia Crank to Guest Host "The Day With Trae"

Next week, Alicia Crank will be stepping in as a guest host for "The Day With Trae," running from July 14th through the 18th. This opportunity holds special significance for Crank, as it coincides with her late father's birthday, a day she hopes to honor by fulfilling a lifelong dream.

Crank expressed her admiration for "The Day With Trae," highlighting its commitment to showcasing "everyday folks" who are actively making a difference in their communities and promoting Black joy. She is particularly enthusiastic about the diverse lineup of guests scheduled for the week, which includes Bishop Gwendolyn Phillips and King County Council Member Claudia Balducci.

Among the guests, Crank is looking forward to conversations with Janice Green, who is running for Everett mayor, and Claudia Balducci, who is seeking the position of King County Executive. Crank is familiar with both individuals and is eager to learn more about their journeys and aspirations for their respective roles.

Reflecting on her upcoming visit to the Black Media Matters Studio, Crank praised the dedicated space as inviting and tailored to the Black community, providing a safe environment for sharing stories and celebrating achievements.

Beyond her hosting duties, Alicia Crank is known as a dedicated community volunteer and the founder of Northwest WA Civic Circle. She also serves as the Senior Manager of Philanthropy at Homage Senior Services. Crank's work consistently aims to foster unity and Black joy across all communities, including those in Snohomish County, where Black residents are becoming more prevalent. Her goal is to serve as a connector, bringing people together and promoting unity regardless of their neighborhood.

Viewers can anticipate a week filled with laughter, entertainment, and education, as Crank aims to shed light on the significant contributions of individuals in leadership roles within the community.
