Dr. Rachel Issaka’s Malva Pudding Cake Ice Cream Celebrates Women’s History Month At Molly Moon’s

In a delightful blend of culinary passion and community support, leading gastroenterologist and researcher Dr. Rachel Issaka has introduced a Malva Pudding Cake ice cream at Molly Moon’s. The flavor is a rendition of Malva Pudding, a classic South African toffee sponge cake, elevated with apricot jam swirls and sweet cream ice cream.

“After years searching for the flavors that made Malva Pudding so special, what Molly and her team created truly delivers,” Dr. Issaka said on Molly Moon’s blog.

More than just a delicious treat, a portion of the cake's sales benefits Converge Media, supporting our mission to serve the Pacific Northwest’s Black community. Dr. Issaka’s Malva Pudding Cake ice cream is a sweet reminder of the excellence found in our community, spanning from pioneering medical research to culinary arts and impactful storytelling.

We sincerely thank Dr. Issaka and Molly Moon’s for their ongoing support.
