Film Commissioner Lex Scope’s monthly film festival returned to the Langston Hughes Performing Arts Institute on Tuesday, August 25, bringing local film lovers and creatives together. Embracing a CINEMACON theme, attendees pulled up in their best cosplay, expertly captured by photographer Jaden Martenson.
A highlight of the program was the screening of "Walk With Love," a documentary short by Converge Media. The film featured Seattle Pride 2026 Grand Marshal Deaunte Damper and his incredible legacy and advocacy work this year.
As a long-standing media partner of Scope Screenings, Converge Media celebrates the festival as a cultural and community hub in Seattle. For those who love local cinema and underrepresented storytelling, Scope Screenings is a must-attend event and a true reason for the community to pull up month after month.
Stay tuned for the full video story on Scope Screenings CINEMACON on all Converge platforms.
Scope Screenings returns Tuesday, Sept. 29 with a Grunge/Emo theme. Tickets are on sale now at scopescreenings.com
