PNB’s ALL LANG Triple-Bill: The Dance Event Featuring Jessica Lang’s Artistic Prowess

Pacific Northwest Ballet (PNB) is closing out its 25-26 season with a triple-bill dedicated entirely to Resident Choreographer Jessica Lang, one of the region’s most-celebrated dancemakers. All Lang is a masterclass in boundary-pushing art showcasing Lang’s profound ability to channel wide-ranging inspirations into movement.

Headlining the program is the Seattle premiere of ZigZag, Lang’s jazzy and joyous salute to the legendary music and visual artwork of Tony Bennett. Critics have already confirmed the vibe: "You know the way you get cheered up watching Fred and Ginger? That’s ZigZag times 10,” Tony Frankel of Stage and Cinema said, according to a PNB press release.

The electrifying new work is paired with two established PNB favorites. The program includes the visually striking Her Door to the Sky, inspired by the light and color of Georgia O’Keeffe’s Patio Door series, and the hauntingly moving Ghost Variations. This work weaves together the compositions of Robert and Clara Schumann and was created during the global pandemic, but now seamlessly transfers to the stage for a live, in-person performance.

Most performances of All Lang will feature bonus "Pop UP" performances, shining a spotlight on the next wave of choreographic talent in the Pacific Northwest. These six short works, created by students from the PNB School’s New Voices program, will be danced on tiny stages throughout the McCaw Hall lobbies during the intermissions.

This essential showcase of movement and vision runs for only seven live performances, May 29 through June 7, 2026, at Seattle’s McCaw Hall. Get your tickets online at PNB.org or by contacting the PNB Box Office at (206) 441-2424.
