Tonight is the night! We are heading to the historic LANGSTON (Langston Hughes Performing Arts Institute) for a very special edition of Scope Screenings.

This month’s installment, dubbed “Scopesgiving,” marks Season 4, Episode 6 of Seattle’s premier live underground film festival. The vibes will be unmatched with a “Denim & Diamonds” theme, so come dressed to impress. Doors open at 7:00 PM for the mixer, and the screenings kick off at 7:30 PM.

Premiere: Diamond of Opportunity

We are incredibly proud to announce that tonight we will be screening the first trailer for our latest Converge Media production, Diamond of Opportunity.

Directed by Omari Salisbury, produced by Mat Bermudez, edited by Emilio Dominguez, and featuring cinematography by Paul Sanders, this documentary is a project close to our hearts. The film is still currently in production, but we couldn’t wait to share this exclusive first look with the community.

Diamond of Opportunity explores the comprehensive efforts of the Seattle Mariners to make baseball and softball universally accessible across the Pacific Northwest. The Seattle Mariners literally are the Diamond—through the Mariners Care Foundation, they are building a "full life cycle of opportunity" by nurturing dreams, fostering resilience, and forging community connections. From the Hometown Nine mentorship program to equipment donation grants, this film tells the story of how the organization is investing in youth and families to ensure the game truly belongs to everyone.
