September is right around the corner, and here in Washington that means it’s almost time for the State’s Biggest Party!

The Washington State Fair returns to Puyallup Sept. 4–27, bringing together everything you can only get in one place: hundreds of prize-winning crops and crafts from our friends and neighbors across the state, gotta-have-it fair food, a glowing midway full of rides and games, free entertainment stages, fuzzy farm animals, educational exhibits, local shopping vendors and something amazing around every turn. This is where once-a-year traditions meet new memories, a celebration of everything that makes our state special.

For 126 years, the Washington State Fair has been a place where communities from across the region come together to celebrate September’s arrival. Whether you grew up Doin’ the Puyallup or you’ve never experienced the Fair before, this is your State Fair.

Your Fair is the Washington State Fair

A day at the Fair can be whatever you make it.

Music Fans love the Columbia Bank Concert Series, with nightly concerts under the stars. Flavor Finders discover the wildest “we have to try that” Fair food. Thrill-Seeking Families enjoy unlimited rides with a Dizzy Pass – with a whole afternoon in SillyVille for the littlest adventurers. See stunning hand-made quilts, crafts and culinary masterpieces and vote for your favorites, or visit the Grange Hall to see giant pumpkins, flower shows, creative crops displays and countless amazing creations made right here in our home state.

Did you know that our state is one of the most productive agricultural regions in the world? This year, our free exhibit, Our Food, Our Farms, Our Washington returns with a fresh focus on the science and technology shaping agriculture today. Guests can get an up-close look at where our food comes from, learn about the people and industries that keep Washington growing and discover how farming continues to evolve.

Celebrate Community at Fiestas Patrias

On Sunday, Sept. 20, the Fair hosts Washington's biggest Fiestas Patrias celebration, honoring the cultures, communities and independence of Mexico and Latin America with a full day of music, folkloric dance, authentic food and family fun.

This year's celebration features two free concerts in the Columbia Bank Grandstand, including Voz De Mando and Sonora Dinamita. Fiestas Patrias entertainment is included with Fair admission.
