Those were the first words out of Jay Martin Jr.’s mouth when he joined the Converge family. Martin, of course, is excellent in his own right. A Telly award-winning actor and the host of Crosscut at KCTS 9 (Seattle’s PBS station), Martin understands the level of dedication and preparation required to produce meaningful content. Martin brings that level of professionalism to his podcast, The Drive Project Podcast, which is now the latest addition to the Converge Media Network.

In April of 2021, Converge Media and Vanishing Seattle released a short film about The Postman, a shipping and small business services company in the Central District. Watch the video above and hear the stories of owners Keanna and D'Vonne Pickett. Since then, The Postman has been undergoing an expansion effort as they look to bring their business to more people around Seattle.
Apply Now For The Tennant Improvement Fun and Get Up To $100k Improve Your Commercial Space
The City of Seattle Office of Economic Development (OED) is investing $1.9 million for tenant improvement grants that will support small businesses impacted by COVID-19. Through an open application process, the Tenant Improvement Fund will grant small businesses up to $100,000 to build out commercial spaces and make commercial improvements more affordable.

“My big thing is getting on a platform where I can reach more people and get them educated,” Dr. Nelson said. “I'm really big on health care prevention. So preventive medicine, making sure that you get all the screening measures that are age appropriate.”

Battling Stigmas: Deaunte Damper hopes to encourage those fighting addiction by sharing his story
Deaunte Damper is set to make his return to the set of We Live In Color Wednesday night at 8:30 pm with special guest Nikkita Oliver. Damper had taken leave to pursue treatment for addiction, and is now back to share his story as well as the stories of others.
“I feel rejuvenated,” Damper said. “I’d been dealing with addiction for a while and I felt like it was finally time to learn to really take care of myself.”
