In thrilling, tense, and grinding fashion, the Seattle Kraken defeated the New York Rangers in overtime. After another late penalty allowed their opponent to tie things up, the Kraken remained focused, used an improved overtime strategy, and Justin Schultz found the game winner.

Food-wise, you already know I grabbed the baller box which comes with, snow crab legs, a lobster tail, shrimp, salmon, and fries. Big O got the garlic noodles with snow crab legs and a lobster tail. As for our drinks, we got the berry lemonade and even took one to go!

In the third of their six game homestand, the Seattle Kraken lost another heart breaker, falling in overtime to the Winnipeg Jets. Seattle held the lead until the final three seconds, but a late penalty would be a fatal blow as they would lose in overtime.

His life was celebrated during a memorial service at Climate Pledge Arena, featuring musical guests, the Crowning, a speech from the mayor and the premiere of Converge’s latest film uplifting D’Vonne’s legacy, The Marathon. It was an emotional and impactful gathering.

In game two of their current six game homestand, the Seattle Kraken fell to the Minnesota Wild in a hard hitting, grinding 1-0 affair. The Seattle power play continued it’s struggles, but there were silver livings to the loss.

D'Vonne Pickett Jr. made an unmistakable impact on the community in both the Central District and Seattle as a whole. One way he did so was through the CD Panthers football program, where he served as the head coach for the 6u team that his son plays for. We followed that team through the end of their season and the championship game after Pickett's tragic death.

The Seattle Kraken extended their win streak to five, as they opened a six game homestand with a thrashing 5-1 win over the Nashville Predators. Andre Burakovsky tallied three points, while Jordan Eberle netted two goals. The Kraken put on a beautiful performance on national television
