#WeLiveInColor looks back at an inspirational and exciting year
Join the host of We Live In Color Deaunte Damper as he reflects on what was an inspiring and fulfilling year. The show saw a variety of guests, from State Legislators to Drag Stars to activists and more. This year also saw Deaunte host a special edition of his show live from the historic McCaw Hall in partnership with the Pacific Northwest Ballet on World AIDS Day.
SEATTLE TO HOST THE 2024 DISCOVER NHL WINTER CLASSIC ® AS THE KRAKEN TAKE ON THE VEGAS GOLDEN KNIGHTS
Today, the National Hockey League (NHL) announced that the 2024 Discover NHL Winter Classic® will be hosted by the Seattle Kraken who are taking on the Vegas Golden Knights on Monday, January 1, 2024, at T-Mobile Park, home of the Seattle Mariners.
The NHL’s premier event will be the first outdoor contest for the Kraken who began play during the 2021-22 season.
Kraken ring in 2023 with focused, fundamental 4-1 win over Islanders
To begin the year of 2023, the Seattle Kraken were able to play sound, simple hockey for a full 60 minutes to topple the New York Islanders by a score of 4-1.

Converge Media’s newest show, ‘Heartbeat: Prosperity for Black America”, is set to launch on Wednesday, January 4th at 5:30 PM. Hosted by Stevie Award winning author Cindi Bright (The Color of Courage: Crushing Racism in Corporate America), ‘Heartbeat’ focuses on strategies, advice and commentary for Black Americans in the business space and beyond. Featuring a mix of news and opinion, ‘Heartbeat’ is an engaging show which will add a new layer to Converge’s programming.
Kraken end 2022 with crude, nightmarish blowout loss to Oilers
The Seattle Kraken were embarrassed on home ice by division rival, the Edmonton Oilers. Seattle was hit in the mouth early, blowing three defensive assignments in under four minutes that resulted in three goals. The Kraken were never able to recover.
